As I don't know much about his music, and the fact that he's more in the media for his antics more than musical talent - it's hard to tell. I think it was pretty gross that sprayed a needle of blood onto a camera & then they had to sunsequently cut the interview short. There have been 'shock rockers', but none that I know of have done something like this. One I would give praise to is marylin Manson, he shocks, yes, but when he opens his mouth, he says some pretty profound things.
I'd say the most redeemable quality about Pete right now is Kate Moss, who could dislike her?
(maybe she's sees something in him that we have missed...)

Gifted, but definitely another case of too much too young and unable to handle it. I saw him being interviewed on some late-night music programme once, and I couldn't believe it was the same lad who we see so much negative stuff about in the papers, I just wanted to mother him! He was really softly-spoken and actually sensible, a shame we don 't see him like that more often. I think he's just crying out for help with the drugs etc; fame, money, talent and a beautiful girlfriend obviously don't make life any easier.

He could so much more if he stayed away from class a drugs he'll probally end up doing the same as Mr Cobain only Nivarna(US) (there was a 60's band here in UK of the same name) are ten times better. I say poor Kate Moss,

Hey Power,
Take away the fact i am a lying cheating, bankrupt, thieving scumbag with syphilis - I must be near perfect!
He is a total waste of space!
Put him a room with Russell Brand and let them bore each other to death.

both i'd say, gifted poet/songwriter but absolutely gross private (public) life
although him getting blamed for Kate Moss's drug habit is a bit much, she just wans't caught on camera before then!
he does seem to have the 'little boy lost' look about him that women seem to either hate or fall in love with and want to mother

I don't think I've ever heard any of his music so can't say anything about his talent. Can't say I'm impressed by what I read in the papers about him or his girlfriend. I'm a bit worried about her daughter too.

Again he receives too much media.
He will die of a drugs overdose, that much you don't have to be a medium to see.
It will be Kate Moss (instead of Paula yates) having break downs all over the place.
Guess it fills hello magazine.
I can't think of anyone as gifted who is such a tosser.

IMHO a bit of a waste of space. I think Avondrow said it quite succintly really. Aside from Can't stand me now when he was in the Libertines with Carl Barat, I can't name a single song of his.

Gross but that's because of the drugs. If he got himself clean, he'd be ok. He was good in The Libertines.
