Crispy Vegetable Dip

1-1/2 cups TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

1/4 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped cucumber

1/4 cup shredded carrot

1 Tbsp. finely chopped cilantro

WHEAT THINS Snack Crackers


MIX salsa, celery, cucumber, carrot and cilantro. Cover.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour to blend flavors. Serve as a dip with crackers


Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 1 hr 10 min
Makes: 14 (2 Tbsp. dip + 16 crackers) servings

Serves (4 to 5)

For frying Cooking Oil



Ingredients (A)


4 tablespoons Rice Flour

½ teaspoon Sesame Seed

½ teaspoon Sugar

½ teaspoon Chilli Sauce

¼ teaspoon Curry Powder

As necessary Salt



Ingredients (B)

70 grams Potatoes

50 grams Carrot

30 grams Bean Sprout

30 grams Cabbage

1 piece Green Chilli

2 pieces Red Chilli

40 grams Long Beans



Ingredients (C)

As necessary Chilli Powder





1. Mix all the Ingredients (A), together in a bowl. Don't add in any water.

2. Chop the Ingredients (B), into fine pieces and add it into the bowl. Mix it well.

3. Leave it aside for about ½ hour.

4. Heat the oil for deep frying.

5. Drop the mixture into the hot oil and fry it till crispy.

6. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

7. Sprinkle the Ingredients (C), on it and serve.

Get them cold - keep in ice for a while.

Parboil them for about 5 minutes then roast in the oven in very very hot olive oil until nicely brown and crisp.

add corn floor plus maida.( fine wheat powder) 1:1 or 2:1bater so prepared dip the desired veg. and fry in oil deep fry. you add egg white too if you want

first dip them in flour with salt and pepper and then fry them till golden brown....they wil be yummy and crispy

Slice thin, season, Bake or fry with just a little bit o' oil (too much makes the veg. go soggy.)
