I tried everything. Flee collars don't work, Vet's injection did nothing, When I bath them the flees come back and they are not completely freed of them.

I use Frontline Plus on my cat and it is 100% effective. He has NO fleas or ticks, ever, and we never find any in the house or yard. I have never found any other product that is as effective as this, and I think I have tried everything. It's worth the money, to me, because I love my cat and I hate fleas and my husband is allergic to fleas.

If your cat is an inside and outside cat, he or she is bringing them in. Having had cats for a lifetime and fleas several times here are the solutions. BUT YOU HAVE TO DO THIS OR YOU WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE FLEAS.

1. Spray your yard about every 10 days for a month. Flea eggs hatch every 7 to 10 days and continue on and on and on.

2. Treat your cat with the month flea treatment. EVERY MONTH. This makes them a deterrant instead of an appealing lunch for fleas.

3. My cat just died a few months ago and for 7 years he never had one flea.

4. Take a powered pesticide dust and sprinkle it into your carpeting and floors after about 24 hours, vacuum about a half cup of the dust up into the vacuum bag. Then vacuum every inch of your house. The fleas will start to smother in the dust in the bag and die off. PUT THAT VACUUM BAG IN A PLASTIC GARBAGE BAG AND TIE IT TIGHTLY AND PUT IT IN THE OUTSIDE GARBAGE CAN. THEY CAN GET OUT OF THE VACUUM BAG IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS.

Do the last step every 7 to 10 days 2 more times, THOSE FLEA EGGS WILL KEEP HATCHING. SO STAY ON TOP OF IT.

Follow these steps.

1.Treat the yard, three times 7 days apart.

2.Treat and clean your floors three times 7 days apart.

3.Flea treat your cat monthy with the medication (you can order frontline on the internet) It is 3 treatments for $25.00.

Good Luck. This will work. I also use the electronic pest controllers in my house. You buy them at Home Depot on the pesticide aisle. Just plug them into the wall sockets. I have about 6 in a 3000 sq. ft. house and we rarely see any pests at all.

For your cat I suggest bathing it in Dawn dish soap. If you have any fleas in your home there are products on the market. A friend found this out and told me after she spent several dollars on fancy stuff that was meant to get rid of fleas. I thought she was nuts until I read it on the net and I used it. Pet- flea free.

Shave your cats. Fleas don't live on bare skin.

Or... don't let them outside. Indoor cats are almost always healthier and live much longer average lives.

Try to discourage rabbits from living near your home. They always cause a huge increase in flea numbers and activity.

Spray your yard (front and back) with Lindane. You can then mix a mild solution to dip your cat in. Do not rinse it off. The fleas should be gone after a couple of dips. You might have to spray your yard a couple of times.
