I think a nice watch would be a good gift. If the graduate is going into business, perhaps a leather portfolio and a nice pen would be appreciate or a leather bag/briefcase.

Write a $200 check or something for the career he's graduating into. But most college grads really need money.

in all seriousness you are looking for something that says congrats, now get on with a real life, and here's something that can help you as a mature adult.

my best idea is to talk to a tailor, and see if you can get a deal for a suit, and give him that, and all he has to do is wlak in and get measured. (granted $200 isn't a great suit, but see if a few others would like to chip in).
