If the father of my baby is not married to me (because he can't be at this time), can my baby sponsor him on a family visa? Or, do you have to be a certain age to sponsor a family member? I see it says you can sponsor your father - but I don't see it saying there is any age requirement... Also...does it matter if the baby was born in his country as long as I (mom) is American? thanks! :)

If a baby can't sponsor - can an adult sponsor him to come to be with his baby? Know what I mean? Sponsor on behalf of the baby since the mom is not really blood relation and they're not married yet.

Daddy! Daddy come home mom's waiting for you. This way the baby will send his sponsorship letter for this guy. On the basis of this sponsorship letter the American immigration guys will issue the visa & the man will be with his family. So simple isn't it? I wish it was so simple for every thing to happen dear! You know what I mean. Getting divorce just like this, getting married just like this, getting immigration just like this, no checking, no evidence, no paper work, just your wish, by rubbing the magic lamp & calling the Genie to do all this for you. Why don't you search for that magic lamp & do all this. May be then I can also hire from you that lamp for my requirements. The other way out is to let the young baby be the next President of your country then it will be all so easy for you to get things done, as this baby will make his/her own law & follow it accordingly. Better work out your papers yourself then getting baby to do this job.

First, only certain family members can be sponsors. A sponsor must be a legal resident (green card holder) or a US citizen.

Second, a US Citizen can file a petition for an immediate relative. An immediate relative is defined as spouse, child (who must be unmarried and under the age of 21) or a parent. Immediate relatives are exempt from the immigration quotas.
Sponsoring a "son" or "daughter" (which is a married child of any age, or an unmarried child over 21) and a brother or sister is affected by immigration quotas.

The citizen in question must be over the age of 21 to sponsor a parent or brother/sister. They must be able to prove the relationship, prove that they can financially support the relative for the period of time required to process the request (at the moment, 5 years for Mexico) because the relative is unable to seek or be gainfully employed during that period.

The US is a country that recognizes jus soli (right of citizenship by birth) and jus sanguinis (right of citizenship by blood). The choice must be made at the time of birth, though - the two options are mutually exclusive. Mexico only recognizes jus soli ... which means a child born in Mexico is MEXICAN, regardless of the parent(s) nationality.

Baby would need to 18years old and a natural born citizen of the US of A. As far as someone else sponsoring him, it would need to be a family member to him, they cannot sponsor on "behalf" of the baby

you have to be at least of legal age (plus comply with other requirements) to sponsor a relative to get a visa.

if your baby is born in another country, under US laws, your baby is not a US citizen. It's the jus soli doctrine

The question is. Are you keen to anticipate him for ten years? just to anticipate your toddler to have a father? No. a final call has no longer something to do. provide him your final call. You and the toddler ought to flow flow to he's father the place he would of been deported. think of functional. i be responsive to that's no longer what you desire to hearken to. yet, am telling you through fact my husband have been given deported too. we don't have kinfolk only yet or perhaps like that it hurts to be aside. yet, look if he comes back he's working the possibility in getting caught and spending greater time in penitentiary and not being in a position so which you will fix him papers in 20 years. Now why did he get deported? grow to be it volunteer departure? tried chatting with a criminal expert and notice in case you're able to do something to repair him papers. My humble advice. good success. God bless.

The child must be an adult to sponsor anyone. Why can't you be married?Could it be that someone is collecting welfare and doesn't want to be found out?

According to law the child must be at least 18. You can get married to an illegal. Been there done that. It can be done. But don't expect that it will automatically make him legal. there is still work, money, paperwork, and time. So good luck!
