To those who reject their Creator, life has no meaning. They can, however, invent things that distract them from thinking about and understanding that very inconvenient truth. All their so called purpose and meaning is just busyness and distraction to get them through life until they can die.

I am an Aquarian Satanist, what we believe in the afterlife is easily proven with the most upto date scientific data as well as the information from higher beings, and it is also my Ideal afterlife. The soul like the brain is nothing more than impulses and energies collecting to represent experiences which make up who you are, the universe is made up of 70 percent dark matter and dark energy which is the makeup of the astral realm (the afterlife if you will), on death you just release from this physical shell and add experiences to your already growing soul, there you are part of something much bigger, you can access much more information of many lives you have been part of, you can communicate with higher beings, you can travel the universe, you can reincarnate and advance further, there is so much, it is the continuation and each life is a stepping stone, there is no great reward, why do you think most angry spirits are christian, they get confused and devastated at the fact they afterlife is not what they are told and they no longer know what to do, and why do you think spirits of past satanists or occult people are so dangerous to aggrivate, that's rioght, we know what is to come and we have real power, our ideas on afterlife come from fact not ideas, from evidence not from a book, so remember, when you die, when you realise there is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no reward or punishment and there is no god, dont break down and lose it, remember what has been said here and you can save yourself an eternity of wandering insanity trying to figure out why you are being "punished" by your "god"

God has not let me in on what God's divine purpose is. There are so many others in here that can tell you that as they are in direct (physical) contact with the Almighty, they can tell you God's will, likes, dislikes, plans and purpose. I'm sure you will see several responses that outline the Divine Purpose.

I actually find a lot of joy and empowerment in figuring out what gives life meaning for myself rather than feeling some sort of predestiny determined it for me. I sometimes think it can be even more imperative to a nonbeliever to create a life they feel is meaningful since they don't expect a second go round or immortality to follow. I am a nonbeliever and it may surprise believers that some of the meaning in my life comes from helping others become self sufficient and trying to make the world a more peaceful place. It shouldn't if you think about it though, we all live in connection with each other and in societies so its to our mutual benefit and for the benefit of our offspring.

Actually, i don't see much purpose in the eternal lives of christians, and muslims... they live, die and then go to heaven forever? where is the purpose... this life might as well mean nothing, and what is their purpose in the next life? For non-believers, well me anyway, my purpose lies in living the best life i can, and advancing the human race.

For non-believers you are born to a liing death until the actual death. They think that's the end of their story not knowing that's just the beginning of the real story for the rest of their life. !

That life can be lived without divine intervention, without fear of supernatural retribution, and without delusions, however comforting.

whatever you love, you will follow. What do you do the most?Christian's believe that thier purpose is to serve god by help(or what they think) is helping others,by leading them to Christ/God.Where as a non-believer serves himself.Does that make sence?
