The Scripture says that we are to "shake the dust off our feet (sever our ties to them) as a testimony against them." It means that when God says it's time to give up witnessing to that person, that we are to go away sorrowful that that person would not heed the Word, but not feeling as though we failed in our witness. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink!

In the first place, it is not my job/responsibility nor do I have God's mind to know without a doubt who is not going to repent and will die and go to Hell to await The Great White Throne judgment.
Christians will NOT be at The Great White Throne Judgment, where Jesus Christ & God Almighty judge non-believers. That is solely between non-believers and God Almighty.
I have been cursed before by non-believers in this life, and what I did was walk away, but I did continue to pray for them, because I knew then and I know now that I am only the messenger offering an introduction and delivering an invitation for Jesus Christ. It is up to the person to accept the invitation and it is God Almighty who takes the meeting.

Tell him congratulations on actually using his free will and having independent thoughts. Congrats on being enough for yourself, and not desiring to live under the rules of another. If a creator or entity desires my total commitment they must ask of it, not command!! I hate no one, because hate is a byproduct of religion. Be spiritual by leaving these religious cults, and look for a deeper meaning to your own existence. Serve no one, but master yourself. Respect your creator if you believe in him, if you don't believe respect yourself first and formost. Help all in need after you help yourself. Simple and time tested words to live by....

Its better to be a listener, than a talker so
you wont have to listen to all that.
If god puts it on your heart to talk to someone, let god bring that person to you.
Hes the one that orchestrates the hearts,
or the guy wouldnt be coming to you.

Why not just leave him alone in freedom to believe what he believes? I don't see how someone who doesn't believe in God can actually hate Him. And anyway what do you want him to repent of? What's it to you? Live and let live.
