Sounds like she's in heat, which means that she will soon be receptive to the male. The guide for when they are ready for mating is around the 12th day of the heat, but some b**ches can be receptive at any time. She will be in heat for around 21 days, so you need to make sure that she is not let out on her own. In fact, when mine came into heat, I only let them out in the garden, because dogs can follow you home. Keep an eye on her for those 21 days. When she stops bleeding *is when she is at her most receptive*. The vulva will be swollen with a small clear discharge. I would recommend that you most definitely do not walk her in the park during this time. You can wash her down with warm water. Once she is over the heat, allow her hormones to settle down before having her spayed. I wait about 2/3 months after a heat, because some bi***es are quite down after their heat.

I agree with nellana. Sounds to me like your dog is in heat. If the bleeding is coming from the vagina. When the dog starts to come in heat she will start having a small discharge and as the days progress the discharge will start getting more red which is bleeding. The bleeding will be light and get a little heavier. This is normal when the dog comes in heat. I have used toddler pull ups for my dog to wear when she is in heat. It really helps with the mess if this an inside dog.

you do no longer point out certainly one of those drugs that the vet prescribed, yet is it antibiotics? if so, i'd certainly proceed as an open wound on the paw is ripe to collect airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust and reason an infection. alongside with the antibiotics, it relatively is a robust concept to additionally provide probiotics (eg: acidophilus and different lines) through fact through fact the antibiotics wipe out the micro organism interior the physique, they regrettably additionally wipe out the good micro organism and the probiotics will replace that useful micro organism that stay interior the gut. Cleans the paw properly. you need to use chlorhexiderm or hydrogen peroxide or the like. Then use an antibiotic ointment over the wound (neosporin polysporin, etc) To wrap the paw, use the two sterile gauze rolls and standard help tape or you need to use a tube sock over the paw and then positioned first help tape over that. there's a product observed as "vet wrap" (seek on the information superhighway) that's suitable to apply and it rather is something you could save on your first help equipment. it would be a good concept to reserve that now and then use the gauze/tape or sock/tape until it arrives. good success!

Is it a girl dog? It could be her menstral thing. I freaked the f' out too the first time my dog did that. They're just like humans... except our vet told us that it happens 3 times a year.

Check if there is blood in her stool. Usually it just means her colon is upset. You may have to make a change in her diet. Ask your vet or a pet nutritionist for advice as to what changes to make.

The dog (if not spayed) is probably in heat. Get her in to the vet, make an appointment to get her spayed after her heat is over.
