Anybody can do an internet search to find a recipe, copy and paste it. I think you should at least know if it is good and actually have made it before recommending it to others.

Well, Yes. Some people just copy and paste recipes, but some other people do share their own, personalized recipes... It's actually easy to identify which catergory they belong to. Just see how they describes it! Haha... If they can explain in great details, it might be that they truely have tried out the recipe themselves.

I do occassionally. Usually they are tried and true recipes but since i am a "little bit of this and a little bit of that" cook, I never have the quanities written down.

If i do use one that isn't a personal one, I get the recipe from www.allrecipes.com, where people who have tried them, rate them and give their comments on recipes that look very simular to the one I make up in my head.

I totally ignore the posts that contain more then one recipe. They think they are cute and can search the net. The only ones I pay any attention to are the ones that post one and say that have tried it or this is my favorite.

I'm sure some people do, for the possibility of 10 points...

I suppose they do.... I wouldn't be able to because I'm able to talk only about things I've actually eaten / cooked myself.
