i love my bf to death, but things have been rocky for the past 6 months or so. he lives in another state and i suspect that he's been cheating on me or is at least interested in someone else. i'm not sure what to do. it was a rocky relationship, but i love him and i'm deeply attached to him. to make things worst, i've met someone else. i love my bf, but i don't know if it's time to let it go or to try to work it out. we've tried to work it out so many times, but it appears as if we never fully resolve our issues. at the same time, i don't want to throw away all my time and effort i've invested into this relationship (4 years) what should i do?

either move in or move on. you can never be out of doubt if you are far away from. so either go to his state or forget about it.

I suggest you should leave him and move on to a new stage in your life. I know, 4 years are a lot of time, but can you afford wasting more time in something that doesn't make you happy?

Long distance relationships are very hard. i would not, personally, be able to handle one unless he was in the military. If you feel this relationship is going nowhere, then it is time to move on.
