Cause in any team, any allrounder (people say afridi an Allrounder) have not less then 25 batting average and more then 35 bowling average. Even Scott Stris a part time bowler has the better both averages from him. And after playing 250+ matches(hes standling in senior players catagory of the world) , but no body have this kind of worst statistics like him Any cricket player who played 90+ Odi matches have the better statstics, image and reognition from Afridi..

im From Pakistan. i think people perceive me as non paki yahoo user. cricket.forum5.com, in nearly 10 years of career, the 2 or 3 best innings nothing matters, Fidel Edwards or Collymore also involve in a Draw of test against England or SA, and look at the styris initial career phase, and compare it to his present, how improved cricketer he is now, and when we talk about afridi his initial career and present hes stats and performance going down and down. And u talk about Test Average, Is he have any chance in test team of Paki..

I don't think you have ever watched cricket, more specifically have watched pakistan cricket. Avrages don't tell the entire story, he has played international cricket for a very long time now, and as an all-rounder the batting avrage does tend to drop. He still has a avrage of 37 in Test Matches. He is a top spinner in the pakistan team, and by far the best fielder.
In the last series in Abu-Dubai his batting won Pakistan the first match, his bowling won them the second. He didnt play the third and they lost.
Also if you are going to compare Styris and Afridi look at the number of matches they have played. I assume your argument is for ODI's; therefore Afridi has played 240 ODI's while styris has played 133. That has a big affect on the avrage.
Also you have to consider the number to meaningful inings they have played, I named 2 great inings by Afridi already, and he has played some great inings against India and Australlia as well.

No way, he is not a good bowler, batsman or a fielder. I think its good to get rid of him as soon as possible.

I fully agree with you. He is a totally unpredictable and inconsistent player.
