No, the alcohol doesn't expire. However, the taste will decline as time goes on. If it is stored in a cooler place it should preserve the quality longer. As for Bailey's Irish cream, there should be an expiration date on the bottle. Bailey's will curdle when it expires. Bailey's should be stored in a refrigerator if you are going to keep it around for awhile. It should last 6 months after opening, unopened it should last about 2 years according to the manufacturer.

you will know when Bailey's goes bad because it will harden and you won't be able to get it out of the bottle. as for other liquors, they won't go "bad", but the flavors will get a little mustier with age, especially if you keep it in a cabinet. my best bet would be to shove them in the back of a fridge or freezer (especially vodka). If you are worried about your alcohol going bad, you should invite people over more often for cocktail parties, themed get-togethers, ect.
