first we must assume global warming is a real problem in order to answer what affect it has on anything. The problem here is I don't believe it is real, on the other hand I read something the other day that said global dimming is countering the affect of global warming. It seems that all the pollution in the air is blocking some of the suns rays preventing the earth from warming as quickly as they first thought. Hey, I can't trust the weather forcast for next week, can you trust them for 100 years from now? ok assuming global warming is real.... I saw somewhere that seals would be affected by a reduction in their food source, it seems that they live on fish and the number of fish would be reduced. Reduced number of fish means some of the seals would starve to death, their numbers would be greatly reduced.

Climate systems are dynamic, and dynamic systems appear to be described by chaos theory. One of the features of systems described by chaos theory is that there is a selection of steady states, with chaotic states in between. At present, global warming appears to be moving us from one steady state (to which we are used, and for which we are geared up economically) into a chaotic state. The chaotic state means that we are going to experience a lot more extreme weather than we have been used to. Paradoxically, global warming may even bring about an ice-age. [This relates to the effect of rising sea temperatures on the Gulf Stream Current. The Gulf Stream Current already appears to be slowing down, if it stops entirely, nothing is going to stop Europe from freezing over.]
In addition to global warming, there is another effect at work: namely the increased reflection of sunlight due to particulate pollution. This moderates the global warming, but it affects cloud formation, and may be the cause of severe droughts in Africa.
There may be other factors at work as well. All of this means that it is likely that the weather will be extremely different in the not so distant future to what we have known in the 20th century.
At present, estimates of the economic effects of climate change are: add together the effects of world wars 1 & 2 and the Great Depression, and you've got it.
Global warming may already be affecting you, in that there are more severe storms than there were even 20 years ago, and so this will be increasing your insurance costs. (Even if you don't have property insurance yourself, there will be flow-on effects when you purchase goods or services from people who do have to pay property insurance.) You will almost certainly have had to pay more for some foods than you would have otherwise as a result of global warming.

It will effect everything. Our system is finite and emitions compound like interest in the bank so what took us say the last hundred years to screw up will now if we stay the course only take say 40 then 10 then 5. So we could in fact literally kill ourself's off within the next 100 years. Also we effect nature with different things we do. Take the Bee, cell phone waves are known to disorient the homing of the bee back to its hive. You may say big deal right? But if a bee can't find its way back it dies, the less the population the less the pollination and the less the plant life and food source. Scientist have been working on this problem for 20 years and have no solution. We can't synthetically do what bee's do, so no more bee's no more man. people also say a two degree rise is no big deal, but it was only a three degrees that brought the ice age. Look up David Suzuki on youtube....

it doesn't. Its mostly bull sheet. the government periodically hits us with these issues to keep us on our toes and not owrrying about real issues, like replacing the government.
Same as the san andreas fault which was going to send tidal waves around the world and wipe us out in the 70's, the giant meteorite that is due anytime to wipe out all life, we started worrying about in the 60's, the oxygen being depleted by the reduction of the amazon jungle in the 1980's, AIDS which we were all going to have by 1990 etc.
We lost nuclear war as a good issue when russia collapsed but are bringing that back a bit now with korea and pakistan but just doesn;t have the same story potential
Also we have the big terrorism scare now, despite being statistically one of the lowest risk forms of death in the world(less chance of being blown up by a terrorist than being struck by lightning- twice)
And global warming of course. the earth is about to melt...aaaargh

WORSE CASE SCENARIO
It will be far worse than projected in the end
No ways is any government going to admit ,
to the extend of the possibilities ,because they can do nothing to save the people ,and when the people realise that the governments will colapse.
Mass evacuations are out ,there is no place for people to go ,Global disasters mean global effects
with floods the people from the low lands cannot go any where else because other people will already be there ,
there is no food or water to sustain large crowds on the move .
and it will end up with people shooting those invading into their space.
the only thing one can do is not live in places that are easily affected ,by earthquackes,volcanos,tsunamis... ,hurricanes, desertification etc ,
And If and when something happens ,sit at home wait it out and having a party is the best thing to do
that is why religions are growing at present ,to prepare people for death ,and to accept it with out panic
LONG BEFORE become as autosuficient as you can because water and food are the first things to go,
SO we can expect Rising food prices, shortage of water, both hotter and colder weather,
Ultimately,Famine,Wars and death.
in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result of heat waves ,as in France 2 years ago
,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and most of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing
each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
and there is less and less water (because of deforestation) and the overpumping of carbon and surface aquifers ,and more and more agriculture requires irrigation
Arable lands and their farms are lost all over the globe.because of desertification and if the sea levels rise thousands of hectares on coastal lands will b flooded
Northern China is drying up, what once were millions of food producing people, are now hungry refugees ,running for their lives from the all consuming dust storms.
This will have a great effect on world food prices when they start buying at what ever cost, to feed their people.
The farmers have to feed some 70 million more people than the year before but with less topsoil.
Over the last half century,
Population growth & rising incomes have tripled world grain demand from 640 million tons to 1,855 million
In the near future the global farming community will not be able to feed every body ,food prices will continue to rise. .
potable water is getting at critical levels and people are already fighting over water this will only get worse
Animals ,insects and flora is dying because of differences in temperature ,because links in the food chains are effected.

Disturbing to know you are a sociopath, but anyway ...
Global Warming would better be described as "excess energy in the biosphere". That energy drives weather systems. The more energy, the more severe the weather ... everywhere ... even where you live. There is nowhere to hide from bad weather, it moves around. Some areas are more prone to damage than others, but nowhere is immune.

global warming affects you because as time goes by the climate goes higher and higher. the sun will highly affect your skin and get really bad sun burns, fevers, and rashes. also there might not be no more fresh water (since only 3 percent of water is fresh) we might have to drink yucky salt water.
watch the movie "An Inconvenient Truth"

Climate change will affect agriculture (so you could wind up paying more for food), greater chance of contracting some insect-borne diseases, you could lose your home in catastrophic weather conditions.
If you live in a coastal community, your living conditions could be affected.

This is a complicated question to answer as there are many factors involved.
I recommend searching the web for the latest report from the IPCC - International Panel for Climate Change.
http://www.ipcc.ch/
The most recent report (4th I think) will have most of the answers you are looking for.

i have to turn the air conditioner on earlier in the year, leave it on all night so I can sleep comfortably. My electricity bill has gone thru the roof for three months of the year.
Back in the 80's I very seldom needed an air conditioner.
