we are born with nothing.......when we die we take back nothing...then why do we fight,why do we spread?

Yes, this is the gist of philosophical works world over. But Maya or illusion conjure up heavenly pleasures to the human mind. Caught in the coils of senses, the mind is unable to discriminate. Intellect is overshadowed by the illusory mind. Hence human beings loose their discriminating capacity and roll on every life seeking the fleeting pleasures of the senses. A second before we were born we were fed,clothed and housed by mother`s womb.. We did not have to pray. .
After death we don`t need food clothing and shelter and no prayer. In between these two milestones we need food clothing shelter and prayer!. Three necessities and one luxury are unequally available to humans . We fight for them.
Two Street dogs fight for a bone. If street dogs need prayer they also will go nuclear..
Very soon humans will be going to war for water and later air.
And of course if a society has all the three necessities they fight to decide the luxury which God is to be worshipped and how.

So true. I guess some people think fighting is worth it. I think the most important thing that anyone will take to their grave is their character. So my focus is just becoming the best person that I can be, someone who cares about her family and friends, and does her best to be a good person to others. I'll never be perfect, but to me that seems to be a worthy goal. I know that I'll die one day, but I'd like to die with my soul. (Not in the technical sense, but you know).

Life is a Will to Power (and nothing else besides).

Even fundies use the scriptures as a weapon to increase their social power.

It's in the genes that we must behave to increase the survival chance of ourselves and our own children. Look at the large families of most fuundies and how they work (quite rightly, genetically) for the thriving and security of their own.

Some are born as males and some are females.

Some are born beautiful and some ugly.

Some are born rich and some destitute.

Some are born with good manners and some become stupids

Some are born with a bright mind and ,some are dullheads.

Some are lucky and .and some are most unlucky.

some are born with good health and others witha diseased body.

Some have every thing and some have nothing.

Because we are hard-wired through evolution to try to dominate each other in competition for food and shelter. Common greed is the manifestation of this dominatory tendency when we already have what we need.

I think this is a good question. My only thought is that humans tend to want to control everything and that breeds hatred and fighting.

We (humans) try, but there are so many greedy ppl/ greedy leaders & greedy ppl who are fighting for ways to become greedy leaders, out there.
Our lives are caught in the crossfire of it all. *Sigh*
