i dont think theres a need to talk through a snake... a parrot talking would have given christians more leverage but they chose an animal that is physically incapable of talking.

I think they used a snake in the story because they thought it was a pretty mean animal. But we now know that snakes are just natural critters who don't know right or wrong. I would have picked a crocodile if I had written Genesis.
But it is just a story to explain a happening or teach a lesson. People could better understand it if it was about animals and other things they knew.

Trees are symbolic of men. The serpent has always been symbolic of Satan. The snake was already crawling. Why curse something to crawl that always has crawled; and never did speak except in the movies?
There were three males and one female in the garden. The tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and Adam were the males. The one called woman, who would become known as Eve, was the female.
The symbolism of the serpent with the tree is twofold. It is there as the phallic symbol and to state, beyond doubt, that Satan was the tree of knowledge. It was a man-like creature, symbolized by the tree, which was cursed. Out of the loins of this creature, possessed by Satan, came the son of the evil one which was Cane. 1 John 3:8 and also 12. Abel was Adams son. Cane and Abel were half brothers.
Ever wonder why science only tracks through the woman? Simply because Eve is the mother of all; but not all of us had the same daddy.

First of all, not everything in the Bible can be understood by everyone, at all times. What I mean is that some things aren't understood until a long time after they are written. One example of this is that Jews in Jesus' time didn't realise He would come first as a sacrifice, then again as a conqueror. They were not able to make sense out of the prophesies of Isaiah, for instance. I think this is the problem for us understanding what actually happened with the Serpent, Satan and Eve that day in the Garden. My speculation is that the Serpent cooperated in some way to be used by Satan, and thus shared in the blame and received the consequences of its actions.
As for the curse of crawling falling on its descendents, this is another thing we don't totally understand. Why did Adam's sin fall on all mankind? Why does Jesus' crucifixion redeem us? Some things are so because God knows a reason even if we don't.
For those readers who think we are just talking about a myth - that is not the case at all. Christians don't believe in Jesus because we have been persuaded to believe by some cunning argument, but because ultimately we have personally experienced Jesus.

I think satan was talking through the snake, the snake could never talk, but I don't know why God would curse all the snakes of the world just because satan used the one.

Well, snakes were never able to talk, fool. Don't always take fictional stories from the bible into reality. Anyways, Satan is BEAUTIFUL.

I think you should not take it literally.
Furthermore, Satan can take any form they like.
