The KJV was based on Jerome's Latin Vulgate. Since that time we have found other manuscript evidence going back earlier (this does little to change meaning) Some of the terms in theKJV are dated and we read the word with a different meaning than was used at the time it was written. Also different versions tend to focus their translations differentlyi.e. some focus on a word for word translation while others go for a meaning for meaning or concept for concept meaning. I find it helpful to have several different ones for study so that I can try to get the most out of what the original meaning was.

Newer dead scrolls have been uncovered since the writing of the KJV.......Also some of the words in the KJV are used to mean other things now.....Like Gay doesn't mean what it meant in the 50s...(sorry bad example, but the best I could come up with with in a pinch)

The King James Bible is older by far. Perhaps when the New International was created, somebody decided the KJ was wrong.

No, wait; that cannot be. That's THE Bible! How can it have anything wrong? Hmmmmm.

this is a good thing to study
actually different translations differ from one another because each one is biased according to the belief system of the translator
but numbers such as the one u mentioned shouldnt be affected by personal of denomination's belief
this is something that deserves futher investigation
i will go check the translations u mentioned

All the versions of the bible is different.
It's been changed so many times, God himself wouldn't recognize it.

The bible is Gods word changed by man - FACT!
In some whole words and sentences are left out and some have additional words and paragraphs.
This makes me think Satan already got into Gods Word and made man change it.

Could it be that the Bible was written by men who make mistakes?
