do catholics or christians wear them? are they called yamikas? what would you call it if a pope were to wear one? is it positioned the same place on the head as a yamika? is the size of the popes "yamika" the same size as a jewish yamika?

The Pope sometimes wears a white cap that is about the same size and shape as a yamika. It is called in English a skullcap and in Italian a Zucchetto

The word is spelled "yarmulke". The Pope wears something similar when not wearing his mitre, but it's not called a yarmulke.
