i started getting shooting pains in my right ear. it comes and goes but is pretty painful. i tried using painkillers but they aren't of much help. any suggestions?

Sounds like an infection--see a doctor.

i had a similar superb element some weeks in the past..i might get the capturing discomfort in my inner ear for greater or less 5 seconds, then it got here lower back perhaps half-hour later. it is long gone now yet attempt to get sufficient sleep and phone a doctor if it persists-you never know! it could additionally be the commencing up of an ear an infection.

I get that all the time and have learned to just suck it up and deal with it. But that is only because I do not like pain killers...
Anti-inflammatorys seem to work. Like IBprofin.
I get ear infections about twice a month due to a very sensitive nose. ( sounds wierd but true) If it is being caused by too much snot in your nose running to your ears like mine are, just blow your nose often. Or go to your doctor and they usually proscribe something, but it is rather expensive without insurance...
