why does my girlfriend tell me about guys hitting on her throughout the day when we're talking on the phone? "so like....so like...there was this guy and he came up to me and started hitting on me and asking me if I had a boyfriend...and I told him yes...and then he told me...ohhh that's nothing..." *giggles on her end*. why would she do that? some jealousy tactic she learned out of an article in cosmo magazine entitled, "Make Your Man Want You More."

hilarious bubble whatever the hell your name is...pussywhipped...totally forgot about that "word," until just now...it has me reminiscing...for some reason that word always begins and ends with a funny story.

She is fishing for compliments or looking for something she doesn't feel she is getting..perhaps...the other thing that comes to mind is that she is playing games ....tell her you just don't care to hear about that if she loves you she will stop.

I'll admit, girls do and say stupid things. Half the time we don't really mean it. We just want the attention. We want to get a reaction out of you so we know that you care. That's the whole point Is getting a reaction. I know I try doing that to my boyfriend... but he knows me too well. He'll just kinda act like he doesn't care. So I'll do it more. I'll talk about other guys cause I want a reaction. I want him to tell those guys to back off and that I'm his girl only.

She might feel like she is losing you or she wants to keep you interested. Also, it can be a bad habit some women happen to have ( others also find it annoying or kinda weird like myself). She could do that to see your reaction when she tells you this stuff or to see if you want to counter with some girl hitting on you( I really just threw that one in for fun but it could happen) or whatever.

Maybe you're not paying her enough attention, or she's insecure and feels a need to just let you know that other guys out there want her. Or she could be young and immature...and yes, cosmo does have some dumb reading material!

i would say if you say you dont like it, you'll solve your issue but it'll kill her fun
the bottom line is despite whatever motives she ultimately may have shes trying to get your attention.
the question really at that point is weather or not shes abusing the attention you give her, the whole scenario only gets out of hand when she starts pushing for more and more attention and reciprocates less and less, assuming thats not going on, I would say its probably a reasonably decent sign (as long as shes not telling you "yeah I told him no i didnt have a boyfriend and then we went and _______ " lol)

Is she a blonde? Either she has no clue or she is trying to make you jealous. I think it's the first one. I didn't think women do this kind of behavior anymore. Most women just tell guys what they mean or ask them what they want to know. Next time she does it, just let it out the other ear.

Man, nobody understands the things women do, not even other women.
She's just telling you the things that she would be telling her girlfriends. Be glad she's not hiding things from you. Just tell her, weither it's true or not, that your so happy that she is a girl that you can trust and not cheat behind your back and that your lucky to have her. That should get you a few points anyway.

Sounds like she is trying to make you jelous, or trying to make you think she's all that and a bag of chips. I would just be like "oh cool" and then start talking about cars or something. Or if you want to be mean just flat out say "cool i care why?".. I hate when my boyfriend says that..

this is a move to gain control on the relationship,get u paranoid,and make her feel more important.the easiest way to fix this is call her bluff.do the same thing back at her,maybe leave another girls number lying around.just write it urself,you have to get control of ur girl early or they will run over you making you become one of the worst things for a man in this world,pusssywhipped.

Sometimes women like it when a guy gets jealous. I know it's sad but it makes it so then the woman knows that her boyfriend does care for her.
