I've been wondering the same thing. He could be the one. As far as family lineage goes, we really don't know because his father was adopted. He's an EU member, so that fits, and he's a Bilderberger, so that in itself is very ominous. He has climbed quickly in political ranks. He's about to officially embrace catholicism, another ominous sign. Only time will tell. The rapture will come before the Tribulation. For those of you who think this is all nonsense, you should open up your bibles while you still can.

I have no doubt at all that Tony Bliar is the Beast and will bring about a 7 year peace treaty with Isreal and then will get the job of EU Leader. I think the 7 year peace treaty will come before the rapture.

First of all, the seven year peace treaty has to happen before the antichrist is revealed. However, once the peace treaty is signed, time is right for rapture to occur anytime between then and the beginning of the last three and half years of the seven years of peace. The Bible says Christians will be raptured before the antichrist begins his reign of terror. So we will be gone during that last three and half years when the antichrist begins to conquer and show his true colors. Or we can be gone the whole seven years, because the Bible only states once the treaty is signed, we are gone, but also that no man, not even Jesus or the angels, knows when that will be. But we can see the signs of the times and know we are close to that day, Jesus said. Yes, I have thought of Tony Blair, but then you have to ask does he have the credentials the Bible says this person will have, namely, heritage back to the line of David, very charismatic, good looking, charming, very, very intelligent and have great military mind. Does this sound like Tony Blair? Not to me. At least the way he acts now. I personally think it has to be someone all cultures will accept, because the Bible states the whole world will believe in him and be trusting enough in him to be fooled of his true colors before he actually reveals himself to be the antichrist.Mind you, he will never admit that he is the antichrist, but, he will at one day, proclaim himself to be God and sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem, so Jewish people will have to accept his heritage and believe him as well, or he would not be able to do this. I may wish I could say Bush is the antichrist, but of course, I cannot. He is just plain too shallow to be the antichrist. The very fact that Bush wants Tony Blair to lead the middle east to peace is proof of his shallowness, he claims to be Christian, but if he really believes his Bible, then he knows peace there is not within grasp anymore than he can spell. The Bible says there will never be peace in the middle east until the seven years of the rule of the antichrist, that is where the antichrist fools a lot of people who will not know the scriptures. They will not know what to look for, because the Christians will be gone. There will be some who had been taught correctly by parents or pastors who are not saved, and will begin to remember the teachings, and begin to realize they were deceived. This group will be able to lead others to Christ during the seven years, but it will be very hard to endure the antichrist's reign without giving in to his authority. The Bible states those who make it out of the seven years, accept Christ, and manage to either live through it or become martyrs in His name (antichrist will order all known Christians killed), will have a special reward at judgement day and be honored in heaven.
As for the peace treaty...well, if Tony Blair does manage to negotiate a seven year peace treaty, there will be other leaders who will make the pact and sign the treaty, and the antichrist could be any one of them! If it really does hold up for seven years. One sign of the first three and half years is peace, and prosperity as the world has never known before, in other words, economies will be the best they have ever been worldwide. It has crossed my mind that Bill Clinton could be the antichrist if he wanted to be, seems he could actually "charm the pants right off" of anyone without their even realizing it, and he is extremely intelligent, but other qualifications (heritage for one) exclude him at this point in time. Even I actually do like Bill Clinton. I think he was the best president the United States ever had, think about it, he never broke any campaign promises and actually did what he said he would do. Who else can claim that? Well, being a little bit nasty here... What if Hillary were the antichrist?
She could fit the bill, except she is a woman and probably does not meet the actual requirements, in reality, but she is not as charasmatic, and I think, not as trustworthy as a leader, as Bill was. I think she wants POWER. Too bad the antichrist has to be a man!

the defenition of an antichrist is anything that is not jesus christ, or anything that miss leads you in the truth. those who are saved by jesus christ and continue living as by his word, will not be here on earth. because like a bandit he will come and take his followers. then the seven years will be the rapture and in the last year the lord will come for the second judgment and judge tose who have the mark of the beast, he will send the devil (beast ..666) and all his followers to the lake of fire.

Yes, it is looking more likely. He is strongly tipped to be the next EU president, maybe in 2009. The US want him to be a middle-east envoy, and lastly he is formally converting to Roman Catholicism with a visit to the pope to confirm this.

Ring any bells?

If I was a believer I would say George Bush, and people like Tony Blair are the ones that he has control over.

You're trying to manipulate reality to fit some mythological story you'd like to believe in. Instead, why not employ critical thinking? It can be quite refreshing.

You don't watch the news enough...Tony Blair is standing down and from the comments he has made, it is somewhat obvious that he thinks G.W is a fruitcake.

So, by that logic, you want the violence in the middle east to continue? Oy vey...some people just baffle me.
