I have 2 daughters that love brushing my hair every night. We all get into pajamas and then I sit on the floor and my 7-year-old brushes my hair and then we both brush my 10-year-olds. It is very peaceful, and they learn patience. It also makes mornings easier because they understand more of what I'm going through trying to get the tangles out so I can style their hair. We also like styling the same for photos (all in ponytails, or flat ironing our hair sleek). It's great bonding!

That would be lovely. I don`t remember my mother doing much beyond minimally brushing my hair.
I swore if I had a daughter I would really help her with her hair.
My daughters head is so sensitive she can`t stand to have anyone brush or play with it. When she was younger she would scream in pain.
***side note. my mother says MY head was very sensitive. That could explain why she wasn`t in the habit of helping me with my hair `:)

Well when i was younger my mom used to cornrow my hair. Depending on the style i wanted this could take hours.so this was one of those times when we just talked about everything under the sun , watched our fave Disney movies and just spent quality tyme 2gether.
