This is a SKIT, Darlin,' plain and simple; BOTH men are ACTING....

If the two were on TV, once a week, it would be a sitcom. And I think the actor playing the minister is doing a fantastic job of it. I'm surprised he doesn't break up at his own performance; it's precious.

It's also sadly cynical and just plain wrong.

Bruno has turned the table of bigotry; he's taken the character of a person who has a strong belief system and made that person look like a jerk. No matter which side of the religious issue one is on, there's no need to make fun of an innocent, even gullible person, any more than a gay person or lesbian should be mocked and made fun of.

It's a tit for tat scenario, and though somewhat funny, ultimately it's unkind, mean-spirited and a waste of time.

John D. I have read the bible. Many of the atheists have read the Bible. There is a good chance that quite a few of them know it quite a bit better than you do. As for Pascal's Wager it fails on many levels, one of which is that Pascal chose his example because it was an unanswerable question. Pascal's wager is only effective if you are an actual hardcore agnostic and fails if you decide to be a theist or an atheist. The problem with Christians is that they are trying to force their religion into the law. If you don't understand why that is a problem for your country you deserve the civil war and totally crippled economy that would result from it.

First of all the Minister is not a 'priest'. Also it is just stupid and made to be funny. It is just a put on. Not real.

My comment is simply that I hate questions that require me to then watch some film clip, etc.

I respectfully request an end to questions like this. Thank you.

When they supposedly "convert" someone "straight" all they are doing is scaring that person to celibacy.

The guy needs to have a serious interview and he just might learn something from the pastor.
