Rather inexpensively you can make glass globe candle centerpieces. You buy the number of clear glass globe bowls you need for number of tables you are doing. You buy matching number of glass votive holders. Using tacky glue , glue holders into bottom of globe. Fill globe around holder with decorative stones coordinating with colors from wedding. Decorate top edging of globe with ribbons and tiny silk flowers in co-ordinating colrs to match wedding. Get soft/romantic scented votive candles to burn throughout the reception. Flower petals scattered lightly around centerpieces also adds a really nice touch to the whole mood of things. Best wishes on your newest journey through life.

I'm doing mine simple, elegant, and small, so as to not take up a lot of room. I'm getting a mirror square for the center and putting a small votive holder on top. You could do a clear holder and put a blue candle in the center. Around the candle on the mirror, you could do some small decorative flower swags. (Careful not to get something that will dry out quick.) Maybe white baby's breath. I'm doing mine with fall leaves and then using chocolate gold coins as a favor to lay around with the leaves. Sometimes less is more. If you are renting a banquet hall, you can always check with the manager to see if they have ideas or even items for you to use. If not, most of these items can be purchased at a dollar store or convenience store. Congrats and Good luck!

I like the idea of candles! We decorated our tables with glass bowls filled about 1/3 of the way with those clear stones from the craft section and cut rose buds short enough that the stones would hold them up... and put just enough water to give it the floating look. Then we put tea light candles around that... with a few rose petals scattered around. Everything came from wal mart. We got our roses 18 stems for like ten bucks. I think we ended up spending $100... but that was for everything. It takes very little time to assemble too. Like 5 minutes per table. We had many complements... especially from our family friend florist who couldn't believe how professional it looked. We use the rocks and little bowls all the time... great for small flower centerpieces for mother's day... or a birthday.

Try empty wine bottles with taper candles in them. Restaurants will give you the empty wine bottles, if you ask. You can add grapevine along the table like a runner, or wrap it in a circle around the bottom of the bottle. It is very beautiful, elegant, and if you find the grapevine growing wild on poles, the only cost is the taper candles, very cheap. You can find artificial grapevine at craft stores.

I did colored rocks in vases with a few flowers sticking out and a little water in it. I have heard people do gold fishes, in a bowl. How about different size candles on all tables mix it up a little and put mirrors under them to make them really sparkle.

Champagne glasses with a few colored glass stones in the bottom, and floating candles. Decorate with beautiful ribbons on the stem of the glass, and sit in bed of silk ivy. Very inexpensive, but I have seen them and the are very attractive. You can buy the Champagne glasses, colored glass stones, floating candles, and silk Ivy at Walmart, or your local craft store.

Buy standard white ceramic tiles, one for each table. Buy black vases, maybe at the dollar store or check walmart, set them in the center of the tile and place red roses in the vase, or another red flower chosen from your bouquet that may be more inexpensive.

you can always check craft stores and websites that you can buy in bulk for cheap. Buy the glass pebbles in your wedding colors to put in a candle holder or small bowl with your candles, the reflection of the light is beautiful and should meet your budget!
