So a young man grows up in India. His family is Hindu, his neighbors as well. He grows up going to the Hindu temple. He lives his life well and does what his family, friends and society expect. He never harms a single person.

One day he runs into a christian missionary. He talks to him a few times but ultimately decides to stay in his original faith. The next day he gets hit by a car and dies.

Please explain to me how this kind young man DESERVES eternal torture and punishment. Does the missionary have any culpability? If he had made a better argument, that young man might have come to jesus.

Why is it that suddenly anyone who disagrees with christianity is "choosing" hell?

Your question and scenario seem to be based on an assumption. That assumption is that Christians have decided that there is only one way to heaven and we've got it! Of course, if your atheist, its a moot point because there is no god right? Well, assume that there is one God. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. If He wants to provide a method of salvation for humanity, then He is the one who decides how it is going to work. So, if He develops one plan and says it is the only way that anyone will get to heaven, then that is the way it is going to be. That is the bottom line. So if the Hindu man rejects God's offer, it doesn't matter that he was "good". If God says the Hindu didn't meet the requirements, that is all there is to it. We are in no position to dictate to God how we are to be saved. It is His way or no way at all. And since it is so easy to believe and accept Christ, I don't understand the problem.

Using the parameters of your explanation!

The young man probably will get the resurrection of the unrighteous in Acts 24:15.

However, there are many more complex issues that could be expounded upon.

If e.g. the young man had been repeatedly exposed to the Good News without any positive reaction, and didn't die in a car accident but by angelic hand during Armageddon, then he would forever be asleep in death -- no torment, but also no resurrection.

Scriptural references:
Rom 2:12-16
2 Thess 1:8,9

Do you REALLY believe that God/Allah/Yahweh/Jehovah or whatever name your religion gives the supreme being would damn everyone who does not fit into a neat little box??? I don't...I think THAT concept was made up by man. Shame on the religions who would sentence all the "good" people of the world to hell just because they do not follow their particular church teachings and do things a bit differently. After all, did not Jesus preach tolerance and acceptance?? Remember the story of the "good Samaritan".....

Our jobs as Christians are not to Convince it is to tell them the truth and hope they hear, understand it and believe it. Oh and for the record India is seeing amazing things happen in the lives of their people when it comes to Christianity...it is not uncommon for an entire village to accept and believe in Christ now...Oh and there have also been Hindu priests and their entire families saved....So it would be sad and he doesn't Deserve to go to hell but don't blame the missionary....it was the young mans choice..back to that whole free will thing..we have a choice.

How do you see fun in that?

The Hindu is not going to any eternal punishment....nor does he deserve any.

The argument is not valid!

I'm not a Christian, but I'm surprised this idea still eludes you.

He doesn't.

If a person sees two roads, chooses one, and dies on it, does he deserve to go back and take the other road?

It isn't about deserving. It's about choice. You choose.

Christians don't owe you or anyone else "tolerance".

You and I may not be Christians, but trying to apply concepts like this ("deserve") even if some Christians do it themselves, doesn't help.

They may be right. I don't think so, but I respect their religious freedom and right to think so. Doesn't hurt me (hopefully).

Firstly I do not believe in hell as it is not a biblical concept. So I believe this man would cease to exist. So God created him, took him out of nothingness and the man lives his life. Then he has a chance given to him by God to be saved. However he turns this down and then dies. After death he goes back to the non-existance that God took him from, no better or worse off than he was before. See... Fair.
