it is possible to run a gasoline vehicle on ethanol easily. the only serious consideration is the rubber gaskets and hoses and such. ethanol is bad for rubber. if the engine isn't rated for ethanol, there may be a conversion kit.
diesel enginess won't run on ethanol.

Ethanol is blended with gasoline in thanol rich countries. e.g. Brazil and Pakistan. If its not already mixed with fuels in your country, you can carefully add it to your fuel. But you need to take a lot of care since very small amount of it is mixed with the standard fuel.
