well if you're worried don't be because even though many people seem to think that global warming is officially happening, there is nothing set in concrete about it.
and if you go to www.drudgereport.com you'll see that now people are afraid of global cooling again.
and in the last 100 years scientists have been trying to alarm the public periodically shifting from cooling to warming to cooling and now back to warming again.
and if you believe the scientists now saying cooling, that will be a change about every 25 years.
so there is nothing to worry about.

Hello!! already started ! If you wanna minimize it then then do not use your car, your AC , your comp, your refrigerator, mobile, your almost everything. yeah I'm not kidding ,almost every human activity causes global warming and if this continues glaciers will melt, first Austrailia to drown then Mumbai to drown seems quite weired put only the extreme inlanders would survive rest all dead. Theheavy impact of this would start in about !5 years so live happy life till 15 years then face really big problems.

people were talking about it 40 years ago ,its been going on a long time, its just become more intense lately
What about desertification due to deforestation ,but speeded up by unusual hot Suns.
Water shortage .Rising seas
Croploss due to temperature changes ,
Heat and cold weaves that are killing people .
Flasfloods .
Mass exstinction of Flora and fauna ,many animals are becoming sick because of SMALL changes in temperature .
Insects are affected and some are going out of control such as the parasites that are killing the bees.
Vital links in the food chains are disapearing affecting other species further along in the chain
.
We are witness to a mass exstinction ,for the first time since the dinosaurs, of the earth's estimated 10 million species, 300,000 have vanished in the past 50 years. each years, 3,000 to 30,000 species become extinct.
Everything is happening so fast it is not possible to monitor things any more
Global warming is a very complex collection of many effects
This text only covers mainly man made desertification
Industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities ,is another story
There are natural cycles in the planets life
but mans existance has its effects, and this is increasing with overpopulation, putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms.
In North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result.
In china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms, that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert.
The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and many of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions .
Collectively this planet´s arable lands are drying up because of bad farming practices like, over grazing and fertilizers,
Each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
This does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.
The melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.

Yes, because the percentage of carbon di oxide in the atmosphere has increased and due to that average temperature of earth is increasing gradually so in coming years global warming is going to start.

Global warming started to be noticed almost 20 years ago.
Right now, it's alarming enough to get people talking about it.

It's started already:
http://www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/Image:Instrumental_Temperature_Record_png
And here's why. Things like the sun and volcanoes used to be a big part of it, but our ability to burn huge quantities of fossil fuels has left nature in the dust.
http://www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/Image:Climate_Change_Attribution.png
It's already having multiple effects on the environment, rising sea levels, loss of some species because their habitat has changed. Vermont's maple syrup industry is headed north to Canada.
