This varies between people and factors such as your height, current weight, physical activity and gender.

You can use a calculator such as this one.

This should tell you how many calories per day you need to maintain your weight, obviously go higher to increase, lower to lose.

And remember these are just guides and based on the individual, but they arent too far off what you will need

its different for everybody - it depends on your sex, weight, height, age and activity level - on average its anywhere between 1600-2400cal/day.
