As long as you're worshipping the same God, I don't think it's a problem. When you "settle down" I think it would be a good idea to find a church home that you love, get in great relationships there, serve there, tithe there etc. But especially if the churches are the same denomination, I don't think it will cause you any confusion.
Does your mom attend your Sunday church? If so, I suspect she just doesn't want to let go of you and is worried you might choose another church.

I believe you should make a choice. It would not only be inconvenient to you in terms of the effort but it may also be conflicting when it comes to the teachings that you receive from the two churches. Choosing a local church of like-minded faith is vital. And later on, when you heed to God's call of ministry/service, having two churches will indeed be difficult. Choose a local church where you may use your talents for the glory of God.
Talk to God about it. Then talk to your boyfriend and perhaps your parents too.
P.S.: Ask for God's leading. And ask yourself where you feel God's presence more. In choosing, do not consider your boyfriend or your parents or whoever. Consider only the growth that you shall have in your relationship with the Lord.

Dear indygrad2006,
i serve at a church on Fridays and Sundays but on Wednesday night i attend Bible study at a church near my house. i think the important thing is making sure that both churches have solid Bible based teachings.
You should explain to your mom that you are attending Bible study and just learning more about God.
i think you definitely want to be positive about which church you want to serve at and make a definitive choice. God not only wants us to attend church- but also to serve Him within the body of Christ.
i think you need to let your mom know you appreciate her concern and that you are going to church on Wednesdays to grow in the Lord.
Good luck with the situation and i think you should pray before you talk with your mom and you might find she may be more understanding than you give her credit for her.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

Aren't both Baptist church's preaching the same thing? If not, read your Bible and decide for yourself...

I see absolutely no problem with that. However, I do not suggest you tell your parents that a bunch of people on the internet is telling you how to live your life. So for this reason I think this question is VERY DISRESPECTFUL to your mother.
