This is just a hypothetical situation. Please read and consider the question and the choices before you answer.

You are walking down a street alone in a rough inner-city neighborhood at 10 pm on a Friday night. You see 5 men walking toward you...which possibility would give you the most comfort?

1-The 5 men have just come from a bar

2-The 5 men have just come from a church Bible study

3-The 5 men have just come from a rave or party

4-The 5 men have just come from a basketball game

Please answer honsetly and know that there are no hidden agendas behind this question. I heard this question posed on a talk radio show and I thought it would be good one for YA.

Thanks.

I guess some people just can't answer a question without adding their own social commentary....I just asked a simple question.
If you KNEW where these people had just come from, which choice would make you the least apprehensive about crossing paths with them.
I'm not interested in who you like or don't like or how tough you think you are...yeeesh!!

How in the world would you know where they were coming from?
To answer your question--if I knew in advance where they had been I would have to say that answer number 2 would give me the most comfort.

Not a logical question. What would five men from bible study be doing in this area of town? Same goes for 5 men from a basketball game. I don't want to meet any of them.

Honestly....I wouldn't know, until I saw the 5 men coming towards me.

Happy Drunks?
Mean Church folks?
Deluded Ravers?
Egotistical Sports Fans?

Or

Belligerent Drunks.
Peaceful Church folks.
Happy Partiers.
Ecstatic Sports Fans.

I would have to experience the moment.

Not enough info to elicit anything other than a biased response.
Are the 5 men from bar just employees who're off work and on their way home, or are they rowdy drunks shouting and fighting amongst themselves?

Are the 5 men from a bible study wearing KKK and/or nazi emblems, tshirts, etc...?

You get the point...

With absolutely no other information to go by, I'd have to say #2. But, being female, I can assure you, I would not be walking in a tough inner city neighborhood by myself at night.

3 Definitely.

I have never been to a party (and by party I mean rave) where people were aggressive. I don't know if it is all the "happy drugs," the good music, the overall feeling, or a combo of all three, but I have never felt uncomfortable with people at a party.

Which version of the bible were they carrying. Just kidding. I don't know. The likelihood of finding five men togeher seems to be a hypothetical oddity unless of course they were coming from a gay bar. Again just kidding.
