Before someone I love gets sick or even dies, I already know it, before I even get the call. I usually dream about them or they are really heavy on my mind for a few days non stop. So I usually pray for this person, my guess is that God is putting them on my heart.

In one of my dreams I dreamed this preacher in his early 50s who was my cousin, died of a heart attack, a short time later, I found out that is exactly how he died. I dont want to be the messenger of bad news, so I have kept quite.

My last dream was of my brother-in-law, In my dream he was walking up the stairs, and he was really slim, had lost a lot of weight, I got a call not too long ago and I heard he had lost weight, and he has colon cancer. I almost wish I didnt have this, for some reason it scares me. I am a christian so please dont tell me I'm sycic, I believe thats wrong.

gather some strength. maybe you should pray about this situation. i suggest that you read the book of daniel. remember, he interpreted dreams and was what people today would call "psychic". daniel is my favorite biblical character.
i'm sorry to hear that these experiences are sad ones. you must be a strong and compassionate person.

The gift of 'perception' is one that can be bestowed upon anyone. Therefore, to say that because you are a Christian, the rules don't apply (especially given what a Christian believes to be true (miracles, prophecy, resurrection)) is a little disingenuous.

Perhaps God has given you this 'gift' for several reasons 1) to demonstrate, on a personal level, what God can do, 2) to 'test' you with this gift, in order to see if you are ready, or not, to be given other, more difficult, tasks. Tasks come to each person individually, and thus may be quite different from one to the next.

To be a Christian is to be a tool of God; that is not a task that one can 'pick and choose' at will. Perhaps the gift is also a test of your faith, what you are willing to accept from God, even if it does seem 'wrong'.

I really believe this is a gift of the spirit, though at times I know it can feel like a curse. You said that you are Christian. Take time to explore why you have this foresight in dreams. Ask God in prayer why he gave this gift to you and what he would like you to do with it. It is certainly unique. Find a way to live with it in peace. I have done this and have found some calm in it. I too, choose not to share my premonitions with others. I feel so far that they are personal to me. Good luck. There can be good premonitions, too. Explore those kind and see if you have those kind too. This adds some relief to me.

God has given you a gift. The gift of telling what can happen in the future. You should tell people about what will happen so maybe they can prevent. You should be very happy you have this gift, because it's one of God's.
