It really depends on the species and the local area. If you are planning on traveling and vacationing, I'd ask the locals. Most of your North American leeches are nice, but European, S. and C. American, and quite a few Asian leeches like human meals.

I think leeches lives in shallow waters, they could live in a warm water but only the temperature that they could tolerate but most of them likes cold, they like small dark areas but this change when their population increases or when they find areas on where they could feed themselves more often than they could.
Which blood suckers do you mean? their are blood suckers that live in the deepest see and in the shallowest stream! Most of them likes cold!

my supervisors a blood sucker and he likes small places like the office and he cant swim that well for shallow water would be could and he would probably pick up a couple of leeches why hes down there

I thought they were the same, they do not care if the area is deep or no warm or not they love blood so be careful out there.

2.they prefer cold & darty water.
3.not so. but they dont like very big area.
*** but there is some kind of leeches lives in corp field like paddy field they are very small in size they dont like water.

Well, I really thought the largest leeches were all the Bankers and then there are the ever so minutely smaller ones that were or are the lawyers and attorneys!
