Hi,
I am a detox specialist and I specialize in helping people lose weight. The easiest and FASTEST way I know to lose weight is to detox.
I can definitely understand how you feel as I am a mother of one myself...
If you would like to lose weight, I can suggest a safer or faster alternative- a detox. I myself have lost 33 pounds within 2 mths doing a detox.
My mentor also lost 15 pounds within a week doing the detox ;)
A detox is healthy because it brings balance back to your body and losing weight is just a by product of the detox. So at the end of the detox, you will find yourself get more energetic, healthier, more radiant looking as well.
And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.
Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.
Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.
Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..
And that's it.
The rest is up to you.
So what do you think? ;)
If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

you have to count calories and try eating the same amount every day so your body know what its working with
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Try to eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
Make sure you eat enough. Sometimes your body can hold on to weight if it thinks it doens't have enough.
Eat lots of fiber, fruits, veggies, and make sure you get enough protein.
Don't eat the same amount of food or same kind of food everyday. Change it up.
Drink a ton of water.
Since you can't go to a gym, take your baby in a walk in the stroller for about an hour a day.
Play with your baby by lifting her up and down while laying on your back.
Give yourself time to lose the weight, sometimes it takes a year to get back to normal.
Take deep breaths, try to get enough sleep.
Try to get emotional support for stress, make time for youself. Stress can make you hold weight.
