I read this recently and really can't believe that many people around me don't believe in the proof of any scientific study

Tell me about it. Even my friend Satan knows the world is old. That darn hand me down book that humans made isn't very accurate.

It depends on what groups you are comparing, but I believe from what I've read that a little over 50% believe in Creation, and the others who believe in Evolution make up a little less than 50%. HOWEVER, the percent of Evolutionists has been increasing greatly over the past century. I predict that in 25 years more people will believe in Evolution than Creationism, since the overwhelming evidence has convinced many. Also, every single school in the country does not teach Creation, but instead teaches Evolution. It's hard to say that there will be an increasing percentage of Creationists in the future since only a few hands are raised in my class when the students are asked if they believe in Creation. Creation has no place in Science, but rather Geography, since it deals with religion, which involves world culture.

I thought it was more around 5% wasn't 60 the amount of people who believe god is real?

statistics are dumb. just look at the people, opinions change every day and every minute. you cant put the in statistics. and for the world beinmg only a few thousdan yrs old...cmon, its much much much older than that. scientists arent even sure, everyone believes something different. we will never know for a fact.

No, the figure is lower but still frighteningly high. I think like 38% according to one study. This is so outrageous that one has to question the study though.

well, I can safely speak for 5500 people - plus or minus- I use to run a retreat center that was international - and none of us did. Please add to your tally.
