Teenage jobs are best done through your local school. Your school might be able to hook you up in summer type jobs like caddying in golf courses, day camps for kids, life guards in town pools, etc.

Besides working on your knowledge of the English grammar, I would strongly suggest babysitting, dog walking, car washing, doing garden work (such as lawn mowing) and/or housework for various folks in your neighborhood.
Are you old enough to apply at McDonald's or even Burger King or Wendy's yet (or any other fast food joint for that matter)?
How about Walmart or any other supermarket or grocery store?
Sitting at home all day by the phone endlessly waiting for Baskin Robbins to call you back is not the smartest thing you can do to earn a few bucks ya know!
They obviously don't want you working for them for one reason or another and it looks like the managers are avoiding you too, huh?
Look elsewhere!
Baskin Robbins ain't gonna happen for you this summer!
But don't despair!
Good luck to you though and enjoy your summer!

i'm not sure how old you have to be to get a job there, but here it is 16 and you need to get a work permit from the school and get it signed from the "employeer/supervisor" and from the school. i lived in ohio when i was 15 though and worked at the zoo. it you cant get a job out there, why do you try babysitting which normally pays b/w $8-10 an hour and get cpr certified and charge more. cutting grass or doing extra chores is an option. house-sitting or dog-walking. ask your parents if you can intership with them at work, or get a paper route, working at the horse stables, maybe a movie theater, at a plant nursery, get cpr and lifeguard certified and work at the pool or ymca, at a camp or day camp, washing cars, or even working as an intern/tutor for grade schools at a summer school. these are just a few ideas, hope their helpful.

Man thats a good question-- have you tried other fast food places. Maybe even a car wash. Look in the paper and see whats out there. I am a dispatcher at a cab company and we hired a girl that was 17 once. She was totally imature so were ever you apply, make sure you enphasized that you are responsible and you really want to serve them as an emplyee.

I would say you could mow lawns...but all the illegal aliens have those jobs cornered.
Sell things on ebay. Take up painting. Sell homemade cakes.
Dog sitting/walking for owners that work long hours.
Good luck to you!

Try a daycare center if you like kids, or if you prefer office work and can spell (!), you could look for a file clerk position.

You probably have a friend that is a server somewhere...just ask for an application from there. He/she will help you find a job.
