The sinus, ear, and throat are connected via the Eustachian tube. Infections can travel back and forth.
If your throat hurts mainly on the same side as the ear you may have a combination of allergy and or infection that involves the ear and throat, or all three , which would include the sinus.
At night two things occur. The sinus, and or ear drains down the tube into the throat. causing irritation to the inflamed tissue.
secondly, if one is a mouth breather when they sleep the air flow through the throat drys out the tissue, which further irritates the tissue.
If it starts with allergy it can easily turn into infection because the drainage is a perfect medium for infection.
To deal with both possibilities it must first be ascertained that it either is strictly allergy, or the combination of allergy and infection.
One must get rid of any infection before it will be successful in dealing with allergy.
Clariton could be used for the allergy and inti biotic for any infection that may be involved.
Your doctor could prescribe the proper combination of meds. Once any infection is removed, a preventive dosage of the allergy med can be taken as needed.

GREETINGS, you might have fluid in your ear, ear infection, throat infection, tonsillitis, hard to tell but you should see a doctor. It could be from the sinus drop that comes with allergies, the grass pollens are high right now.

You might have allergies, a cold, or a bacterial infection. There's really no way to know for sure without seeing a doctor, but you could try a decongestant like Sudafed (ask the pharmacist) and see if it helps.

You should see a doctor.
However, it might be a congestion problem brought on by the change in atmosphere as night approaches and eventually sets in.
However, you should still see a doctor about it.

you might have an ear infection, or might be as simple as water in your ears. clean your ears to get rid of any shampoo or soap that might be left over. in any case, go to the doctor and see what's up
