No, vaseline will not help at all. Muscle pain is best relieved with moist heat and ibuprophen (Advil, for instance)

Got any Advil or Tylenol at home? Vaseline won't help reduce muscle pain unless it's being used to give you a nice, thorough massage. The massage will help but Vaseline does not contain any medicinal ingredients to help reduce muscle pain. Just take an advil, or tylenol, or even aspirin if you're not allergic and take a hot bath, relax and go to bed. Tomorrow, do a mild work out and by Friday you should be good to go.

GREETINGS, omg no vaseline won't do anything except soften the skin and make it greasy. You can try moist heat, a hot shower, sometimes heat works better than cold, cold constricts muscles and reduces inflammation but moist heat relaxes muscles. There are better products from chiropractors and health providers like biofreeze, sombra, cougarbalm, etc that can help. Biofreeze is the best, it is cool and numbing. You can try massage therapy or having someone massage your muscles. Stretching and range of motion exercises will help too.

Vaseline would have little or no effect on muscular pain. I would try Ben-Gay or Bio Freeze that you can buy over the counter. Heat or ice, whichever feels best, is also good, and so is resting the affected muscles.

No, but trying to massage it in might. How about aspirin, ibuprofen, or Tylenol. A hot bath helps too.
