"just shows that everything about christianity is just completely loony"

Only thing loony here is your logic.

He is called Satan, the Devil (slanderer), Lucifer (son of the morning), Beelzebub (Lord of the flies – Matt.12:24), and Belial (lawless – 2 Cor.6:15), the evil one (1 John 5:19), the tempter (1 Thess.3:5), the prince of this world (John 12:31), the god of this age (2 Cor.4:4), the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2), the accuser of the brethren (Rev.12:10), and angel of light (false light – 2 Cor.11:14), a serpent (Rev.12:9), and a dragon (Rev.12:3).

He is an enemy of righteousness. He is a murderer (John 8:44), a liar (John 8:44), and accuser (Rev.12:10) and our adversary (1 Pet.5:8).

Satan is seeking to oppose God’s plan by promoting evil in every way possible.

Indirect Activity – He works indirectly through the world (in which he has great freedom and power – John 12:31; 1 John 5:19) and the flesh (Gal.5:19-21). The world, the flesh and the devil are not three separate enemies of the Christian. Rather Satan works through the evil world system (1 John 2:13-15) to exploit the fleshly nature that still wars within us (Rom.7:18; Gal.5:19-21).

Direct Activity – He works directly by deception, temptation, attack and possession.

I agree, the Christian view of the world is just nutty.
If you do a Bible search of the word Satan you quickly discover that his worst offense is being disrespectful of God and believing that he was as good or better than God. I could not find one thing that Satan did that could be considered a felony in criminal court.
God, on the other hand, could be charged with child abuse, child endangering, genocide, animal abuse, and a host of other crimes.
The fist sin was eating of the tree of knowledge (tree of knowledge of good and evil). For this sin, God went berzerk, really wigged out. What would you do if your kid wanted to know things, was curious, wanted to be smarter? The Adam and Eve myth is ridiculous. God is portrayed as loving, all knowing and he has such stupid child rearing skills. What is wrong with this picture?
After Eve eats of the fruit she recognizes sin and the first sin she recognized is that she is naked. She recognizes she is naked. Can you believe that, naked. How damned stupid is this.
I got an answer from a Christian about God's love and this bozo says that the Bible is simple and clear and it takes a bunch of PhD's to misinterpret the Bible. This prejudice against education is consistent with primitive, barbaric, fundamentalist religion. There is a strong anti-intellectual and education bias.
There is a high correlation with belief in heaven and hell and ignorance.
There is research that shows the church members that score highest on the SAT and ACT tests are Unitarians, a very liberal and tolerant religious denomination.

Satan isn't nice to people against God because he is not smart enough to realise that being nice to these people would help him. He is not smart enough because God did not give him a brain - which is the reason he is rebelling against God - which means he can think rationally. Which means that he has a brain. I'm completely confused now.

Pastafarianism and the FSM make so much more sense.

Not sure exactly what you are asking.

I don't believe in a god or a satan.... I don't believe in religion, but I was watching Miami Ink today and a girl got a tattoo of the goat head within a pentagram.... she basically said that people who follow satanism are simply doing what they want to do, it does not mean that it hurts other people.

The bible is sooo strict.... as far as I hear, the Satanic Bible simple states do what you want to do..... which could sound bad, but if you have half a brain in your head, it's no big deal.

You've asked a question that I've had for a while.

According to the myth, Satan and god are enemies. It seems that, to Satan, the enemies of his enemy would be his friends, therefore to say that Satan would "destroy" someone who doesn't "turn to" god is highly unlikely.

Of course, the thing about myths is that they don't have to make sense.

He is. Look at Matthew 4. He tells Jesus to worship him and he will give Jesus the kingdoms of the earth. Satan is nice to people for a while, but he hates everyone, so he eventually destroys them if they don't turn to God to be delivered out of his hand.

Actually the only bad things he ever did was hurt Job (which was really under God's command and Job was a God lover) and he brings us to Hell which could just mean he's lonely.

Satan is successful only against non-God fearing ones. His job is to lead humans astray. He corrupted most of them by taking away from monotheism.

The thing you have to understand is that even if people are against God (and for Satan - even worshiping him), that Satan still hates them and will harm them because he knows that God still loves them and that infuriates him. Satan led all the angels who revolted - mostly due to jealousy over man - and he wants to bring down mankind because they are God's creation in His image and He loves us.

no your loony...why he hates people is because we are a demonstration of God's love...it states this exact point in genesis

Male and female he created them in the image of God
(Genesis 1:26-28)

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

do more research before you try and put down the one truth..Jesus is lord!
