March 27, 1999.... F117 was shot down over Serbia.
The F117 is actually a ground attack aircraft and has absolutely NO "fighter" capabilities. No cannon. No guns. It was called a "fighter" for two reasons. First, to hide its true mission and secondly, to help attract fighter pilots to the program. They have a real fear of being transferred to bombers. It is an ego thing.

None by enemy fire since Clinton's little conflict, the IrAF(Iraqi Airforce) disbanded just days before the war in Iraq started Saddam ordered all his fighters dissasembled and buried!.(Along with AA SAM's)
Some of them have crashed even this year in Iraq, a pilot just died last week, and may have been hit by a shoulder fired missile, there is a pending investigation on that.

If I'm not mistaken, and I rarely am, we have lost a couple of helicopters in Iraq or Afghanistan from enemy fire. Fixed wing aircraft? Yeah, it was Bosnia.

We had one shot down in Bosnia. I think that's the last one shot down. I don't think we have lost any in Iraq this time around.

If I'm not incorrect, it would be over Bosnia/Serbia under Clinton's little war.
