If God approached me tommorow I'd have actual proof that he existed. I'd think "oops, my bad". But since this is a purely hypothetical question which will never actually happen, I will continue to live my life as the best person I can be.

If God was actually to come up to me, of course my first reaction would be shock, probably awe.
After a short period like that, the only emotion I can imagine having is depression. If God, by any realistic definition of such a being, exists, then life is pointless. Nothing is real because the very foundations of reality has been torn apart. There are no laws in the universe, just His whims. Nothing I've ever done has any special signifigance; it's just a tiny plot point in his grand design.
It seems anger at a thing which created me as a entertaining lab rat would be appropriate, but I doubt I could get over the outright tragedy of the situation to care about blame.

If the Christian god approached me tomorrow, I'd have a great deal of thinking to do. There are many things in the Bible which I think are immoral (such as the subordination of women and the mistreatment of gay people), and so I'd have a lot of "soul" searching to do to reconcile my beliefs with the concept that I think the creator of all things is kind of a jerk.
I think that I am open-minded to the possibility that I would believe in a god if there were objective evidence for it... but I don't know about the worshipping if it were a god that I have ethical disagreements with. Who knows? This is a tough one.

If God approached me, I would then believe in a God because...well, he physically approached me.
How would I go on? I'd turn into a thiest. I never said I believed in no god, I said I did not believe there is one. Big difference.
Yea, I'd feel helpless but you know, I had it coming? But unless that happens, im not going to live my life fearing the helplessness when the logically I should care about it.

lol... how would I know he's a god? His word? Sorry, I'm not buying. He's going to have to do something pretty miraculous to change my mind and even then, we'll see.
You may not want "no god doesn't exist" but thats what you're going to get.
Put it this way.... IF a god exists (and the chance is so minute its almost infinate), and he's like the Christian god, I'd rather go to hell. If he's like you bloody Christians keep saying he is, then he'd accept a sincere apology. If he casts me into hell anyway, then I'd rather be in hell with everyone else I love considering we're all going to go there according to you bloody Christians.
At least Satan is honest about being a bastard.

Well, the only reason I don't believe in religion is because I find it illogical. If God actually approached me and I knew he was real, then I would probably change my mind about religion. Dunno if I'd go to church or anything like that because I think that as long as you lead a good life you'd go to Heaven, but I'd definitely be a believer.

Why on earth would one assume owner ship of something created by that one? If you created something would it not be yours?
"i'd never now down to Jesus" I respect your beliefs but in that case you wont have a choice should that day come. "every knee shall bow, and every tounge confess that Jesus is Lord." I dont see your name excluded in there anywere.
Why do we mock things we cant even begin to understand. You look at the surface of an ocean and assume you know what lay in the depths.

I would say "What about a kaboom? There's suppose to be an earth shattering kaboom!" I would give God as much respect as I would give to a kid burning ants with a magnifying glass.

I'm an athiest, if god came down and spoke to me, then I think I'd believe -- but then I might just think I was seeing things.

I'd tell him that he shouldn't be waisting his time talking to me, there are people starving, people dieing in wars, women and children getting raped...he ought to be focusing on making the world a better place.
