In veiw of the fact that 1Cor. 1:10 says that Christs followers should have, "no divisions among you, but be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement," how can the arguing, divided, resentful, ignorant, defensive, hateful masses of fools calling themselves christain have Christs approval. Would these not be false christains of whom Jesus says, "I never knew you, depart from me, you that work iniquity."

blue angel - The entire purpose of the ludicrous question is to point out that "christains" in reality do not follow Christ. They instead follow their own self - serving interpretation of the scriptures.

There are some who would fit the bill as you have said. But that doesn't include disagreement on certain things. Jesus prayed to the Father about that unity, and it will be fulfilled when He returns to Earth to reign for a thousand years. Who could argue then? Any disagreement could be examined by going to Jesus, in Jerusalem or wherever he is, and asked. Just think how the Muslims will abandon their faith. Just think that all the other religions having no reason whatsoever to keep theirs.

All people will have proof of God because Jesus will be on Earth then.

True Christians do not have divisions really. It's the pretenders that cause the problems mostly. Christ would be, no, is, disgusted with Christians at times, both genuine and fake. However, a genuine Christian will not be cast out of Jesus' presence. Salvation is by grace, not by works (Ephesians 2:8, 9) although saving faith produces good works.

perhaps a little disappointed in some Christians, but all? not so much. i think hes a little more understanding than that. he knows were not perfect and its tough and some people go astray. if you are following what you believe to be right, and doing good works, i believe he will correct us when we go up top. from what I've heard hes a pretty understanding and forgiving dude. so lets not, as Christians, start cannibalizing ourselves, and decide who is right and wrong and accept the possibility we are all right.

No one is perfect and not everyone hears the exact same thing when reading the Bible, but for those who actually read the Bible, there is little to argue, resent, or hate one another about. The masses will be wrong and do wrong and say wrong.
He is the final word and if one has truly been saved, it is forever and He will not turn away.

For the most part I believe MANY MANY so called Christians are in DEEP Sh*T when the time comes. Many preachers, bishops and so forth as well.

But thats just my 2 cents. I am not a Christian due to the actions of so called Christians most cant follow their own basic religious rules. To my experience most are self righteous bigots.

He would be just as disgusted with many of today's Christians as he was with the Jewish Pharisees of his day. He would be one more time hung on the cross for speaking heresies, again by the Jews, but this time supported by a considerable contingent of so-called Christians of the John Hagee type.

I bel;ieve as christians we need to be constantly asking ourselves what are motivation of our actions is. We need to be in line with God's will and that comes from pursuing it from reading the bible etc... I believe the holy spirit indwells each true believer, that should be guiding ALL of our thoughts and proceeding actions. We each are only human though and need to get back on track if we start to wander

Well there is a reason Thomas Jefferson edited his own version of the Bible, trimming it down to the actual words of Jesus and tossing out the supernatural crap

This is an interesting proposition, especially in light of the fact that divisions began amongst the apostles soon after his death. Would he have cast them all away as well?
