My upper jaw hurts a lot on the right side of my face, & when I touch my inner [right] ear it hurts too. I'm 16 & my parents said my wisdom teeth might be starting to come in, although I figured I'd ask some other people who might know more than they do haha.

Are your gums sore? Does it hurt when you chew? If so, it could be a wisdom tooth, or more likely an infection in your gum tissue. To be absolutely sure, ask your dentist. He or she would definitely know more than your parents or any of us here, and can prescribe the proper treatment. Gum infections are no fun, and you should be on antibiotics to clear it up if it is an infection, before the bacteria get in your bloodstream.

The top teeth usually come out first. You're at the right age and the symptoms you're experiencing are very tycical of that. You should soon start to see a little white tip protrude. In the mean time, take some acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil)to treat the pain and when you go see your dentist, you can get an x-ray called a Panorex and you will be able to see your wisdom teeth. He will most likely ask you to rinse with salt and water to prevent any infection from settling in.They will probably have to come out eventually but don't worry, it's really not a big deal. Just to be on the safe side, make sure it's not also an ear infection. That can also be caused by your wisdom teeth coming out. Your pharmacist can help diagnose you with that. Good luck

I had my understanding tooth out, all 4 of them, and that they had to diminish via my gums for the backside ones. I had huge swelling after the actuality and bruising and it harm a lot. no longer in the time of the surgical treatment a lot as a results of fact they gave me injections, yet interior the days after. Getting a typical molar pulled would desire to be a methods much less painful. The injections do no longer likely harm, it quite is unquestionably purely a touch pinch, you hardly even sense it till you're waiting for it. Then after the injections bypass in, you will no longer sense discomfort while they pull the teeth out. you will nonetheless sense rigidity, ie while the teeth releases out of your gum, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it won't harm in any respect. i'm not sure you will even want painkillers or anti inflammatory drugs for the days after the extraction, yet while they prescribe them, then take them as prescribed. you would be advantageous, you're in good palms i'm specific. this is an particularly habitual technique for dentists, and that they extraordinarily a lot understand what they are doing. wish I helped, take care.
