Alot of questions, I'll do my best...

The Bible studies that I go to are just that, you study the Bible. It's a casual meeting where people just gather and talk about what the Lord is showing them in the Bible, or discuss certain scritures, and what it means to them. Usually you just sit in a circle, in a living room and it last from anywheres from 1/2 hr to an hour - depends. Sometimes there is food afterwards - so thats always a plus :)
The point is that it is refreshing to talk about the Lord, and because His Word is glorious, we (Christians) like to talk about Him. The Bible changes lives - its the only book that as you read it, it reads you.

Bible studies don't have to be on a sunday - because reading the Bible isn't just something that you should do in church only, but it should be a daily practice. Why give God only 1 day of the week, when you can give Him 7??
(thats like telling the person you love that you only want to be with him/her one day out of the week - if you really loved the person, you think about them, talk about them and want to be with them all the time)

I encourage you to go - you might learn something !! :D

you read from the bible and interpret it's meaning . you may gain insight or just exercise your intellect. you will also hopefully get a diversity of viewpoints if there are different people not of a single point of view. it is only as long as you choose to stay and you may learn something that can help you in your living skills.
