The whole egg contains portien, minerals, and vitamins and fat. The yolk has the most cholesteral and for "large" eggs an egg white (good source of protien) has 16 cals and the yolk usually has around 56 cals. You have to look up for other nutritional information though, I'd suggest fitday.com or just google it :]

Eggs are a complete source of protein. Both white and yolks contain proteins. The yolk has fats, while the whites do not. One large egg white has 3.6 grams of protein. The whole egg would have about 6.5 grams of protein. Many people avoid the yolks to eliminate fats, however, Omega Eggs can be a great source of omega-3 essential fatty acids, and the yolks are also a great source of lutein.
No web site that I can find has the calories of an egg seperated. I would half the calories for the white and the other half for the yolk.

Hope this helps

the protein content is split basically 50/50 between the egg white and yoke. 100% of the fat content is in the yolk and the vast majority of the nutrients are in the yolk as well. this is why "whole eggs" are always said to be a great source of nutrients.

a large egg contains around 7 grams of protein so 3.5 would be in the egg white which is close to 14 cals

I'm pretty sure the protein and most of the good stuff is in the egg white. I also am pretty sure the yolk holds the bulk of the calories. Hope I helped some...

Trust me, i'm NO expert on this, but basically, the yellow part (the yoke) holds all of the cholesterol and fat, and the white is virtually calorie-less ( i know that isn't a word) but the white is supposed to be really good for you and i'm not really sure about calories except that most would probably be in the yoke...hope i helped a little!

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.getin2it.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!
