The bible says to kill Jesus' enemies for him that do not wish him to be king. (Luke 19)
The quran says to chop off the fingertips and then cut the throats of those that do not believe in islam. (Sura 2:216 and Sura 8:12,13)
These are not good starts to "getting along"!!!

We are getting along. It's taking a firewall and an army of anti-hacker specialists to keep some folks from getting our information, but we're getting along.

Good question....
It's because, frankly, some of us believe that if others do not look, think, believe, or act like we do, they are wrong and bad. Bogus, huh? But that's the reason we're like we are. Don't think I'm trying to encourage everyone being the same; I LOVE individuality. What I don't like is not respecting others' individuality.
I hope this helps. Even if we don't like it, at least we know the cause.
