Yes I do. It shows that bad things start in your thoughts and can be stopped there too. That there is more of a process to not commiting adultery ut you know don't even go there in your thoughts.

Just to clarify, the word 'law' should not be used. Jesus taught. We no longer live by the law.
Of course these are good to live by. Not just because Jesus taught these things, but because our lives would be better in every way. This is the point of God's/Jesus's teaching. It doesn't take a genius to understand this, it simply takes a different view than most.
If I had listened to His teaching, I would not have regret, would not have hurt others,,, I simply would not have made the wrong decisions and would have lived a 'peace of mind', generally happy life. Every day.
Many do not want to follow Christ because there are too many "thou shalt nots" and they don't want the fun taken out of their life or don't want to be told what to do. Truth is, God/Jesus has no "thou shalt not", he tells us how to avoid the miseries we cause ourselves. Yes, this does take us out of the bars, getting revenge, gossiping, having affairs...and costs us time (reading and prayer) and money (giving). But, the rewards of living this way, as best we can, frees our mind and opens our heart; thus making us happy.
Wish I had read and followed from the time I was born.

The bible is God's instruction manual for our lives. There are countless treasures in this book that are priceless. All the laws written in matthew or any other book in the bible are for our own good. Praise the lord ewe don't have to figure out whaht and what not we should do. Everything we need to navigate this life can be found through God's word.

I'm a muslim but I think Sermon on the Mount is one of the best speech ever (or maybe it's the best speech ever). And it's an ideal way and very good to live by.
Unfortunately, it's very difficult to practise.

You don't even have to be a Christian to reap the rewards & benifits of following His laws and principals. They're good for anybody.

Sounds like normal rules of human decency and respect. Nothing original. I do think they are good to live by.

Yes, Jesus said , if you Love me follow my words of advice.
And do as you have been taught!
He would not have said it if it were not true.
