NO! This is because the medication is based on weight. If you give a higher dose then your supposed to it can and will make your dog very very ill and potentially cause death. It causes havoc to the liver and kidneys and the poor pups body can just give out and you'd loose your precious pup. How old is your puppy? If he's younger then 12 weeks I don't recomend using any type of spot on flea medication. This should only be applied to pups 12 weeks or older and at the correct weight. Please take my advice. I'd hate for your poor pup to end up with major health problems or dead. Good luck

Frontline unlike spoton is perfectly safe at any dosage. It would pay to get the correct dosage for your puppy at a size 3 months from now so that the final dose form the 3 pack will be addiquate to cover his size.
I've used Frontline from a pack I bought my Rotti on an 8 week old Corgi. This is after consultation with the distributors of Frontline in NZ.

I would think you would have to get a tube for an 8 pd puppy! sense it does go by weight. or find out from your vet how much to use for an 8 pd puppy, le them know what you have an want to use it for the puuppy and see what they advise you to do!!! If they or you can break down how much to give the puppy for 8 pds? you should call them first just to be sure and save for the puppy !!

Let me say right off that I'm not a doctor of any sorts. I wouldn't think that there would be any problem, considering that there is only a 7 lb. difference. But if there is anything that concerns or worries you, call your vet imediately for advice/consulation.

Yes, it's okay to use it. It's the same formula, you just need to adjust for the difference in pounds. I actually use Advantage for dogs on my cats - the large dog size is a lot cheaper than the cat size. I just adjust for their weight. Just make sure you have the proper measurement and a syringe or something like it to measure it out to the right amount.

Make sure to let it dry too.....take a blow dryer to it. If they scratch and then lick their paws....it could be deadly.....
