Yes. Plants can grow in artificial light sources. It has been proved experimentally. Plants get energy from quantum packets of light no matter whether these come from Sun or some artificial source.

Plant nurseries use artificial light to grow the plants. Orchids can grow very well in a closed room with good aeration and artificial light.

Well, yes, botanists have been using artificial light in plant experiments for some decades now.

I don't understand how all that other stuff has anything to do with the question, though. Please clarify.

light-waves are light-waves high-pressure sodium or metal high-lid lights will produce the same light emissions as the sun so the will grow plants better than plain fluorescent lights
