Then how would you react to that?

Samurai Jack -- The Bible not only fortells of this event, but it clearly states that if you are a witness of this event then most likely you would never believe in God.

You will continue believing in the wicked imaginations of your sinful heart.

I'm a Christian believer. And the world IS my home, right up until I change residences, either due to one of a myriad of possible causes, or the Rapture.

Until I leave, I plan to keep on LIVING!

If I am still on earth at that time, then I will be caught up or raptured with them as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

One might think that everyone else left behind would realize the Christians were correct and then get their life in order with God.

This event is predicted in the bible and there will be people that become Christians afterward but the bible says that people will "believe a lie" which I imagine will be some false scientific "fact" to explain what happened. This is what has happened regarding macro evolution. People are believing a lie.

Warning from Isaiah: Seek the Lord while he may be found.

The pressure on the earth's capacity to support life would be relieved by 1/6th -- if they leave soon. If not, only by 1/7. If in 20 years, only by 1/9.

Who would the anti-christian hang-out in R&S to find out about the truth from?

The rapture definitely would not be the logical conclusion with so many other possibilities involved.

Let's look at it objectively, shall we. Jumping to religious conclusions is always dangerous. Occam's Razor. What would be the simplest logical explanation?

I will be taken with them. Of those left behind, many will eventually come to the truth but most will fall for the lies of the anti-christ. When people don't want to believe something it is amazing what they can convince themselves of.

I'd say good riddance. This world would be a much better place if the rapture happened right now. You'd have people left who actually care about this planet instead of thinking it's here to be raped and trashed.

If one billion people simply simultaneously vanished from the earth, then I would become a believer. Of course, you and I both know that's not gonna happen....

I could buy the house next door to me, that I have been trying to convince the owner to sell to me for nearly a year now. He is a devout Christian, so I would get it REAL cheap.

Hopefully the property prices would go down a bit and there'd be less traffic on the roads.
