Yes, I think it's nice for a girl's room... as long as the girl likes those colors... And somehow, I don't think those colors will go AT ALL with gothic furniture.... What does the 15 year old girl think??? I know I have one daughter that wouldn't mind those colors but the other daughter would flip out and hate it! I'd rather return the paint or give it to a woman's shelter or a Ronald McDonald house and invest in new paint that she chose than put that on her walls.... it would just be wasted!

I don't think you can mix a gothic look with cheery pink and a settled lime green without it looking misplaced.
Here are some ideas that would be good:
Lift up the carpet and paint wood black and white checkers on the ground. If she ever outgrows it, all you have to do is put the carpet back down and get it stretched. This will complete the scene look, and checkers are a classy look to do. It also wouldn't look misplaced.
Or if you don't want to dare your house that much, paint a chair-rail of checkers and put the green under it and the pink on top. (which ever is a darker shade should be on bottom).
Bring in items that have pink and black on them. This fulfills that rock and roll look. Also, bring in some crome. This would complete your thought of rock and roll in a more vintage way,
This style actually reminds me of the shirt im wearing:

Would you ever consider painting something like the faces on the wall in the black and white with some silver accents. It would be VERY scene and edgy. Think how well the black and white with silver would go with the green and pink. If you dont think that, maybe you could make your own painting with black, silver, and white. It would look magnificant in the room.

Hmm I think if you're getting a new desk and vanity table, you could maybe have those black. And just black accessories throughout the room would add more of an edge to it. It doesn't have to be fancy cool furniture; I think just the color would help some. And of course some band posters on a couple of the walls would help too.

Use the pink and green to paint an argyle pattern on the walls. To make it edgier, get thrift store furniture, and paint it all glossy black, and add knobs in brushed nickel or silver on the night stand and dresser. Dress the bed in green, black and pink. Add cool accessories, like a skull and cross bones pillow (these are easy to find, since the pirate theme is so in right now), rock & roll posters framed in black. Another cool idea would be to make silhouette pictures (hang up a sheet of black paper on a wall. Have someone sit in front of it, and shine a bright light at them. Trace their profile shape in chalk on the black paper. Then, cut out the shape, and glue it to pink and green paper. Frame these in black frames). Cool shelves can be made from old records (get them at Goodwill for 25 cents a piece!). Cut them in half, and mount them on brackets to make shelves to hold lightweight things like picture frames.

Consider buying black furniture. I think that will add a nice contrast to the green and pink, and tone everything down. Also use some black on picture frames, maybe a vase or something. The black will allow it to be girly yet add that edge that gives it a twist to her gothic side. Pier 1 has really nice black furniture, and their Modern Desk is really nice.

Paint the walls with those colors but buy black furniture or add an edgy border around the top or center of the walls. Maybe skull and bones border? I don't know how edgy you are wanting to go...
(what is it with the younger teens liking pink and green? My niece wants her walls pink and green stripes...WTH?)

If she is Gothic I would not advise Tinkerbell and bubble gum pink something more like black on silver with modern metal or black furniture. Shop around at different thrift stores and look for flashy things like fake skulls Anime pics, and or ancient looking decorative knives. Every teenager has a different idea about things like I am 17 and am going to decorate my room in an I Dream of Jeanie theme. Ask her opinion and see what she likes best and let her help out with the decorating she will be more proud of it and like it a lot better if you let her do it herself, or at least help out.

Invest in black furniture - buy stuff she can use later in an apartment like bed, long low dresser, desk. Consider iron with glass tops for bed table or desk/table. [ Vanity is not goth, but you could buy a used one or unfinished one and paint it black or silver. ]
A black iron chandeleir would look great!
1] Paint walls lime with a pink border, and make stencils for lime skulls, or pink with green border and pink skulls.
2] Or donate the old paint [ it's tax deductible ], paint walls a very pale gray or white, and paint silver skulls in a border or random design.
3] if you don't want to paint skulls, get anatomy posters of skeletons, or famous horror movies, or torture devices, to frame [ in black, gray, or silver ] and put on walls.
Add bedding and curtains in white, black, and gray. You could do sheer curtains in gray or black.
Get a black, or black and gray rug. Get pillows and cushions in gray, black, and white.
Add accessories in black or silver.

Heres an idea to make it look good.....paint three of the walls in the room green...then paint one of the walls pink...then get really nice black furniture...and pink bedding to match the one pink wall.....and also paint the inside of her closet pink and get some kind of black beaded curtains and hang them inside of her closet....and then get black and white checker floors....it will look GREAT !!
[btw. make sure the wall with her closet is painted green so that way the pink inside will look better and if i were you i would make the wall across from her closet the pink color]
Hope i helped !! GOOD LUCK !!

I think that you should add some daring details. Like maybe exotic furniture, or a few artsy painting, and a few lava lamps thrown here and there.
