before my diet, i weighed 192 pounds. I now weigh 182 pounds. Around 185 pounds, my pants started fitting really loose. I was happy, because i knew this was a sign that i had lost weight. But now i'm at 182, and i feel just as fat as ever. I feel like my gut is as big as it ever was, and that i look fat. What's going on here? I'm not doing anything crazy, basically all i'm doing on this diet is eating less, using moderation, running occasionally(something i never did before), and not eating between meals...so why do i still feel fat?

Oh...hush! It takes time! Losing weight is not easy! Just keep it up and...trust me...you'll feel smaller soon!

losing scale weight does not mean that the body fat % is being reduced. for most the majority of the weight lost the first couple of weeks of dieting will be water. it takes around 3-4 weeks for most on a healthy balanced diet before the metabolism shifts and measurable fat loss occurs

start tracking your body fat % and forget what the scale reads
